THE LOWDOWN
Daniel Moore's first league game with The Hornets will be on the road against Brighouse Town, who finished seventh in 2021/22.
Hebburn opened the season last weekend in the Emirates FA Cup, with a disappointing performance ending in a 3-1 defeat to Sunderland RCA.
Moore tasted three wins against Brighouse last campaign for Shildon, including two dramatic late winners.
Brighouse are yet to kick off their competitive season, and instead welcomed Whitby Town last week in friendly action.
Vill Powell's side secured a terrific 4-1 victory against the seventh tier outfit - their fourth pre-season win.
PRE-MATCH THOUGHTS
"Brighouse are an established side," assistant manager Mark Hudson previewed.
"Their midfielders are very workmen like, they love to get the second balls - we'll have to win the battle first and foremost, we can't expect to play them off the park.
"Their dangermen are the front three - we've done our homework on them.
"It's very important to get off to a good start in the league and get points on the board early doors - it can go a long way."
LAST MEETING
Kevin Bolam's last game with Hebburn was away to Brighouse at the end of February.
The hosts took a 2-0 lead into half-time through Harrison Beeden and Javelle Clarke, but substitute David Allasan restored hope for The Hornets.
A depleted Hebburn side couldn't find the second however, and Laurence Sorhaindo made it 3-1 to Brighouse after the hour.
