Experienced playmaker Briggs joined Hebburn Town in May 2023 fresh off helping Ashington gain promotion to the Pitching In Northern Premier League.

The attacking midfielder played at Newcastle United and Gateshead as a youngster before a spell in Australia.

Upon returning to the North East, Briggs pulled on the shirt for Consett and Ashington.
