We are pleased to announce the loan signing of central defender Lewis Ritson from NPL Premier Division outfit Whitby Town.

Ritson has made 2 appearances so far this season for The Seasiders, playing in the away victories over Guiseley and Ilkeston Town.

First-Team manager Daniel Moore on the signing "Lewis will be a great addition to the squad and provide us with another option in defence just when we need it. He's a strong, solid defender and has just the right character we are looking for. It's great to have him onboard."

The former Hull U23's captain joins The Hornets on an initial 2-month loan and will be available for selection in tomorrow night's game at Consett.
