Hebburn Town are delighted to announce that Max Campbell, Alfa Djalo and Tyler Brownsword have been registered with our First Team squad ahead of the 24/25 season.

Goalkeeper Campbell is a great example of the pathway that the club is providing to young players, having been with the Hornets since joining the Under 13 side.

Since then, the 17-year-old has progressed through the age groups and into the Reserves, and now links up with the senior side - working closely with Kieran Hunter and Callum Dobson.

Forward Djalo appeared for the first team on six occasions last term and will be aiming to continue his progression with Daniel Moore's side this season.

Centre back Brownsword signed for the Hornets this summer and has been given the vice-captaincy of the Reserves. Brownsword, 24, came through the ranks with Morecambe and made his debut for the Shrimpers in the EFL in 2019.

Club CEO Stephen Rutherford commented: “As a club, we are pleased to register these lads with the first team. It supports our pathway scheme and will see the lads predominantly represented at Reserve level, but provides that option for the club to promote up into first team and be amongst the senior squad in training as and when required. We are keen to provide the experience to the talent that comes through our club and registering with the first team is the first step of that.”
