The Hornets play their second game of pre-season at home to Boldon CA on Tuesday night, as they look to secure back-to-back wins.

Boldon currently play their football in the Northern Football League Division 2, as they finished last season in 18th place.

The Villa come into the game off the back off a 2-2 draw with Washington FC, after they scored a last minute penalty to conserve a draw.

Hebburn come into the game after a hard fought 1-2 win against Northallerton Town, with first half goals from Ethan Wood and Gildo Da Silva, enough to seal the win.

Ahead of the game, Mark Hudson said: “Yea it’s our friend who’s manager there, ‘David Palmer’ and me and the gaffer have met with him before.

“We thought we’d give them a game, it will be tough, they’ll be hard working.

“It will be a good test, so we might change system against Boldon and have a look at a back three.”
