Just Play Golds Retain Rutherford 5's Title

Our Just Play Women's teams competed in the Rutherford five-a-side tournament on Sunday.

It was a very successful day for both our Golds and Blacks which lead to an all Hebburn Shield semi final.

The semi final went the Golds way which meant they went into a final against Bishop Auckland.

The final was an end-to-end affair which went to sudden death penalties where the Golds came through 4-3 winners, defending their title of Shields winners from 2022.

Well done to both teams!
