Club provides info to minimise disruption

Spectator Information for FA Vase

The football club has issued the following advice for all supporters ahead of the FA Vase Quarter Final game against Plymouth Parkway FC on Saturday 29th February 3pm KO.

As we are expecting a record breaking crowd to The Energy Check Sports Ground and we want to provide some guidance that we would like all supporters to follow and be mindful thus minimising disruption in and around the ground on the day, having worked closely with the local authority and emergency services we urge supporters to read the following information.

The football club is located in a residential area, therefore we have a lot of neighbours with homes and drive ways and personal car parking. The guidance below is designed to ensure we minimise any disruption

PARKING
There is limited parking at the site and the onsite car park spaces will be allocated to players, staff and officials. There is some additional but limited parking available on the roads immediate adjacent to the ground on North & South Drive (Ground side only). As we are located in a residential location we respect our neighbours and we ask that spectators visiting the site to also respect them. We do suggest if spectators do travel by car then you can park in the local shopping centre (Hebburn Shopping Centre) large car park and walk the 5 minutes to the sports ground or alternatively travel by public transport as we are a short walk from Hebburn Metro station.

FACILITIES
Inside the ground on Saturday Alcohol will be served from within the sports bar itself (plastic glasses) and various can/bottle bars immediately outside the sports club for all spectators (plastic glasses only). Alcohol cannot be taken pitch side in accordance with FA Vase Guidelines (you can stand 1 metre back from the pitch side perimeter) therefore anyone attempting to take a drink pitch side will have the drink removed from them or asked to move to the dedicated areas by the stewards on duty during the game.
We encourage all spectators to support us with this request.

The ground has two covered stands for spectators (Silvergate Main Stand) with 200 seats & The Wardley Pub Stand that an house 75 standing spectators, there is additional small cover outside of the sports club bar as well as the balcony available on the day.

There is two food outlets at the ground on the day, "The Hungry Hornet Café" located at the right hand side of the sports club will serve hot food and drinks, food on offer will be fast food such as hot-dogs, burgers, pies etc, whilst there will also be a hot food van located near the main stand to help minimise congestion.

With such a huge crowd anticipated QUEING will be inevitable in both the bars and food outlets, we urge supporters to be patient and understanding throughout the time at the game. We have ensured all available staff/volunteers are on hand to support during the day and will be working as hard and fast as possible to meet all demands.

ZERO TOLERANCE ON UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR
Hebburn Town FC has a Zero Tolerance policy within the ground. We expect spectators to act in courteous manner whilst respecting all other spectators. Any behaviour deemed unacceptable by the clubs officials will result in spectators being asked to leave. We will have a number of younger spectators from the clubs junior section therefore we also request inappropriate language/swearing is not on display ensuring good examples all round. As well as stewards & club officials in high visibility vests on the day there will also be presence from Northumbria Police as a preventative measure only.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
The public address system will notify all spectators on the day if there is an emergency of any kind. If the site is required to be evacuated spectators must use the closest exit to them. Exits at the ground are located in three positions as shown on the map below.
