Hebburn Town are delighted to share they have secured the services of dynamic striker Lee Mason on a initial short term loan from South Tyneside footballing neighbours South Shields FC.

The initial loan will see Lee join the hornets immediately until the end of October 2020.

Director of Football Stephen Rutherford said "We are delighted to have agreed an initial loan spell to have Lee join us at the club, he's a player we have admired from a far for a while now and we have an opportunity to help him get some match minutes under his belt whilst also strengthening our squad options. We have a hectic schedule during October and for us to have a player of Lee's caliber within our squad is a huge boost and an added bonus. I hope he can see what our club is all about and enjoys his time here.

Lee said of the loan deal "It's great to get the loan deal agreed. I'm looking forward to get back playing games and hopefully i can contribute to Hebburn's great start to the season"

Lee will take squad no. 21 and go straight into Kev Bolam's squad for tomorrows visit of Northern League rivals Penrith FC subject to the required approval of paperwork from both the FA and Northern League.
