Aidan Heywood has been named as captain of his hometown club for the upcoming season, with the defender set to enter his third year at Hebburn Sports Ground.
Meanwhile, Micky Turner will take the role of vice-captain after winning two Player of the Year awards last season.
Moore heaped praise praised on the duo, believing they will drive ‘standards and professionalism’ in the new campaign.
“Aidan has been a leader for me in the dressing room and on the pitch for a number of years now,” he said.
“We spoke about how I believed he would make a great skipper and now is the perfect time for him, me and the club.
“He understands what we expect and he will continue to drive standards and professionalism.
“Micky has been nothing but a credit to himself since he joined the club on and off the pitch.
“His character is something rare in football these days and I think you can see that when he pulls on his shirt.
“He sets examples with a desire to win every week and that rubs off on everyone.”
