Celebrating Hebburn Town FC's Success
Hebburn Town FC has done an amazing job by keeping up the highest standards in grassroots football for over ten years. We have earned the 3-star England Football Accreditation, which puts us in the top 8% of grassroots clubs in the country.

High Standards
We have worked hard to keep everything up to date, like certifications, DBS checks, and safeguarding measures. We offer football programs for everyone, including male, female, and disability players. Our plans for growth and commitment to high standards both on and off the pitch have been key to our success.

Importance of Accreditation
The England Football Accreditation is given to clubs that provide a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all players. Clubs must renew their accreditation every year, ensuring they always meet the high standards required. A 3-star accreditation means we offer football for everyone and maintain a high standard.

Leadership and Community Impact
Steve Rutherford, Club CEO, said:

"I’m really pleased that the club has continued to demonstrate it meets the highest accreditation level rewarded by the FA for grassroots clubs. As a club we’ve maintained this standard for over 10 years (previously charter standard) and this demonstrates the hard work both on the pitch from our playing members and behind the scenes operationally that goes on from all of our fantastic volunteers, whom without our club wouldn’t be what it is.

Our growth as a club continues year on year and it’s a great accomplishment to remain in only the top 8% of accredited clubs at Level 3 across the country. I also believe this is reward for how inclusive and diverse our club offering is and how much of an important part we play in our local community and the wider community of South Tyneside. I’d like to thank everyone for their ongoing support and work within the football club”
