For spectators unfamiliar with the Hebburn Sports Ground, here are some details on how to get to the facility, turnstile operations, details on parking and when inside facilities, and what is available.

Spectator Travel: We highly recommend spectators travel by public transport where possible as parking around the ground is very limited.

Metro: The closest Metro Station is Hebburn Metro (1 mile away) and a 15 min walk, spectators should walk along Station Road, turn right at the traffic lights into Victoria Road and continue up the road for approximately 0.5mile until arrive at Hebburn Sports Ground.

Alternatively, spectators can depart from Pelaw Metro (1.4 mile away) and a 30minute walk. Upon exiting Pelaw metro station turn right onto the A185, continue to walk down this road until it merges with Victoria Road West, further down the road you’ll see Hebburn Sports Ground.

Bus: If you get on the No.27 bus, it will drop you outside the Fire Station which is a 10-15 minute walk from the ground.

Cars and Parking: Parking at Hebburn Sports Ground is limited, there will be no spectators parking available in the facility car park as this will be used for players, officials and staff. There is limited parking along North and South Drive and Victoria Road. We ask spectators to be mindful we have residential neighbours and to park responsibly. Parking enforcement officers are in attendance on match days.

If travelling by car we recommend spectators park in the nearby Hebburn Hub Car Park (Use Postcode NE31 1AB) and walk the 10-15 minutes to the ground.

Turnstiles/Entry: The ground will have 5 turnstiles in operation for this game, 2 x on North Drive, 2 x on Victoria Road West and 1 x South Drive Car Park. All turnstiles are “TICKET ONLY ENTRY” as the fixture is all ticket. Turnstiles open from 11.00am.

INSIDE THE GROUND

Bars: There will be 4 bars in operation (2 inside the sports club upstairs and downstairs) these 2 will have cash and card facilities available for payment.
There’ll also be 2 temporary bars outside, both these temporary bars will be CASH ONLY.

One temporary bar will be located outside the sports club itself whilst the other will be located to the left of the Victoria Road Turnstile (through the double green gates) signposted.

Cafe (Hot Food, Drinks and Non alcoholic refreshments)

We will have two cafes open, both cafes will be CASH ONLY so please be prepared and bring cash (any change is always appreciated)
The cafes are located at the right hand side of the main sports club building (this café will have a larger selection of hot food) whereas the second café is located at the Victoria Road side of the facility and will sell roll over hotdogs and soft drink refreshments (tea and coffee etc)

Alcohol will NOT be ALLOWED pitch side, so we recommend drinking inside the sports club bar.

There will be plenty of stewards and officials available to help spectators where required and we’ll have support from Northumbria Police Footballing unit throughout the event.
