Hebburn Town will make their second visit in five days to Borough Park on Saturday, after they were drawn to play Workington AFC away from home in the First Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup. The two sides faced each other in the NPL on Bank Holiday Monday, with the Reds coming from behind to win, courtesy of late goals from Jamie Allen and Ben McCarron cancelling out Bailey Adamson’s twelfth minute opener for the Hornets.

Pre-Match Thoughts:

Hebburn Manager Daniel Moore offered his thoughts ahead of the game, and was asked if Monday’s defeat would add extra motivation for him and his players. Moore said, “You’ve just got to see their celebrations. Those celebrations against us were quite humbling, especially because it just proves what we’re doing in putting Hebburn on the map. For Saturday, we are hoping to have three or four players back and we’ll be ready.”

Venue:

The match will be played at Borough Park, CA14 2DT. Ticket prices are £13 adults, £9 concessions, £5 ages 16-17 and £2 under 16s. Buy online via the Workington website, or pay via cash or card on the gate.
