We are delighted to announce the signing of Callum West on loan for the rest of the season, subject to NPL, FA and EFL approval.

West is a local lad, and knows the North East well as he originates from Cramlington, which is based in Northumberland.

West started his career off at Macclesfield, before moving on to pastures new at the age of 16 as he joined Burnley.

The young midfielder was signed by Barnsley in July 2024 for their U21 squad, seeing him as one for the future.

West was recently on a one-month loan at Hyde United.

On securing the services of West, Bobby said: “Callum came on the radar a couple of months ago, but we couldn’t make it happen unfortunately.

“It’s great this time it’s happened. He’s got the right attitude and attributes that fit into our club.

“He’s from the North East and it’s brilliant we have a local young lad here making his way in the game. We are really looking forward to seeing what he can bring to the squad.”
