WJ: What strategies is the team implementing to adapt to the higher level of competition at step three and maintain a competitive edge?

AP: “Just focusing and doing what we are good at. Belief is a huge part of moving up. There will be games we win and games we lose, but we must not get too high or too low. Just need to move on regardless of the result, and be positive.”

WJ: How do you plan to lead the team both on and off the pitch to ensure a successful season in this new league?

AP: “Just the same way as last season. By example- training as best I can and leading with performances and sacrifices I make with my game for the greater good of the team.”

WJ: What specific personal and team goals have you set for the upcoming season, and how do you plan to work towards achieving them?

AP: “I’m not setting any goal targets as you could always do better, so the plan is just to contribute as much as possible. Team goals is to win the next game and nothing more than that. We want to go as far as we can in each cup also. The way we’ll try and achieve this is hard work and preparing in every training session.”
